Parent and child . . .    Moored at the Columbia River Maritime Museum, in Astoria, Oregon. The museum is well-cared for and provides a glimpse of the maritime history of the Columbia River and Northwest coast. Artifacts, ship models, graphic illustrations and photographs are on display. There are exhibits about the early exploration of the area, fur trading, navigation, marine safety, fishing, whaling, steam and motor vessels and U.S. naval history.
